The Pilates Method:

Welcome to Pilates, a journey through both mind and body, where two separates become one whole. An experience with the capability to work the deepest of muscles, while strengthening those used for the rigors of daily life.

This is accomplished through an effective program of slow controlled motions. Pilates can be practiced in various ways, most commonly on specific machines or on top of a mat on the ground. It is very important that you be under the supervision of a professional, whether you participate in group classes, or individual lessons. Pilates aims to execute precise movements with few repetitions. Other significant components include respiration, concentration, proper alignment of the body, stability, and the focus on the core.

The end goal is to obtain muscular equilibrium, strengthening weak muscles while simultaneously lengthening muscles throughout the entire body. The exercises prove to be low impact, thus resulting in increased flexibility, control and strength of the body while using exercises that respect the joints and the back.

Information about the Pilates Studio and our objetives

Core Pilates Energy Center’s main objective is to give quality instruction in an exercise that has revolutionized all over the world, the health and well-being of people.

We offer a complete program, with different Pilates techniques for all fitness levels and abilities. We take the person into account, keeping in mind the age, personal goals and physical condition of the individual.

We count on a team of qualified professionals, all bringing to the table formally learned specialties in dance, physical education, sports and other disciplines within this field. Each instructor is certified by Pilates schools endorsed internationally, and with various years of experience instructing classes.

In addition, our facility houses equipment from Balanced Body Pilates. Manufacturing the finest Pilates products for over 30 years, we invest in your well-being and experience by providing the student with various quality machines. From the Cadillac, to the Reformer, Barrel, Tower and Allegro (combination of Cadillac and Reformer), we offer equipment for any skill level. For each of the aforementioned pieces of equipment, we house several of each, allowing the use of the chosen machine at any time.

We offer personalized classes (individual classes), to reduced class sizes of two to three people. We also provide group classes with focus on mat exercises with a maximum of 6 people.

In order to obtain the best benefits from the classes, all of the group classes are limited in size. Pilate’s students are assisted by a monitor that supervises the proper execution of exercise movements. This method assures it keeps with our goal of personalized attention for the student at all times.

The center is open continually from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays.
